So you're probably asking: "Brett...? Did you just show us a picture of a turtle girl?"

And my answer is yes. Yes I did. And you know what? She is full of win! And Capoiera! Which is Chuck Norris level awesome.

And yes, she's got pointy hair kinda like Eddie. It's not my fault, blame Cas. She desperately wanted to be drawn as such. Heck, I wasn't even planning on a girl character, let alone a turtle. But the story goes like this:

So I was talking to in some comments on her ref sheet for the , and we kind of decided that I should join it and hope we could get pitted against each other.

So I sat down to Flash, not really feeling like drawing by hand at that particular moment (because I wanted to get a more toony feel to the character, since I kinda hope to do some animating), and started working.

I was just drawing randomly, as I usually do, letting the character take shape by themselves, and this fun, spikey haired kid started coming out. I was working on the face, when I suddenly remembered that earlier in the day I had decided I should definitely make a turtle character sometime (after looking at a couple of turtles with their awesome claws and epicness), so I kind of went with it. She then became a girl, merely because her eyes just WANTED to be pretty. I have no clue why. Then I came up with the clever last name of "Tortuga" 'cause she's a turtle *shot* and after that I decided she had to be Brazilian.

And she came out looking as thus! Now she is a Teenage mutant Capoiera Turtle!
