Jaren sketch

Forgot I had this one scanned, too. This is a sketch I did back during the spring. That little critter that the guy turns into was inspired by my kneaded eraser.

No, seriously! I was messing with it, and it wound up looking like it had these big ears, so I molded it a bit until it turned into that shape. I then drew what I had molded, and thought about whose pet it would be.

Then I was like "screw it, I just made a cute animal sidekick (Agro), how about making Jaren turn into this thing? So that's how that came about. It caused me to come up with a race and design for him, and I was able to expand on his character a bit.

Name: Jaren Velimer Thorn.
Age: Uncertain. Looks late adolescent/young adult.
Species: M'dylgo (it's kind of Swahili in sound). Type of forest spirit.

Can make things out of live wood and turn into a small animal form.
