Nebula Knight Veil

This is just the initial sketch I did for this character. It is not the final product, and I will have a full app done later. I will move to the information below to that at that point.



Name: Nebula Knight Veil (given name: Navin)
Other Titles: Starborne, Veilar Alpha, Miracle Twin
Age: Somewhere between 5,000 and 8,000
Birthday: Unknown, but later assigned September 5th, 1784, as it is the date of the Veil Nebula discovery.
Hair color: gradiating cyan, to sky blue, to purple, to red violet.
Skin color: Again gradiented from sunny yellow in the front to coral, to salmon in the back, with purplish hues on knees and shoulders, and lightening toward the hands and feet. 
Eye color: Glowing pink irises with thick grey-green rims.
Distinguishing Marks or features: White swirly markings on his skin, and four long, translucent wings.
Height: 6' 4"
Weight: 154lbs (wings included)
Trademarks: 
Dominate Hand: Ambidexterous

Attacks: His abilities consist of using x-rays (particularly through his vision), and manipulating and producing the elements of Oxygen, Hydrogen, and Sulfur. These he uses both in his healing endeavours, as well as in his defense and attacks. Ability type: Production Emission, AKA: Nascence.

Attack 1: Vital Point- Activating his x-ray vision, he locates the opponents weakest points and then attacks them with blades formed of solid hydrogen, often releasing and igniting them upon penetration.

Attack 2: Segregated Deluge- He forms and sends a rush of water crashing into his opponent, which then encloses around them in a bubble, cutting off their air.

Attack 3: Radiology- Emits exceedingly concentrated levels of X-rays from his eyes in a cliche, almost laser-like format, which directed at his opponent before long induces radiation poisoning that will worsen and become more excrutiating the longer his gaze is fixed upon them. It should be noted that it is not the "laser" which is doing the damaging, but the radiation. 

Defense: Veil of Heaven- Creates a formation of compressed solid hydrogen in a necessary defensive location, ranging from a small shield to an encompassing sphere, which absorbs the shock of an attack.


Personality: Soft spoken and mild of manner, Navin is well suited to being a healer. He is the sort who is able to remain calm in even the most dire of situations, and this with his quiet rationale proves in turn calming to those around him. It is not to be thought that in his quiet nature he is also the serious type, for rather he is light-hearted and jovial, a ray of light in the darkness of the world. Altogether he comes off as the embodiment of peacefulness.
  He is not, however, for he is also a cunning strategist and technician whose medicinal and anatomical knowledge he also uses in reverse application to inflict damage. 

Description: A tall, slender man with sunset hued skin marked with pristine white shapes, and very long, silky, blue and purple hair tied back from his face and downward pointed ears. Faintly glowing pink eyes, deep and bright like crimson stars, gaze out from beneath his gentle brow. He carries himself with gentle dignity and wisdom, having good posture and a tender yet firm touch. There is a kindness in his demeanor, and he his both polite and amiable toward others, as though all were his patients. He retains a comforting, sage, and pleasant presence.
   While it seems that he is a very open and warm person, he remains distant from most people, with the complete exception of his sister.

Backstory: Many eons ago, out in the vast reaches of space, a star went supernova, destroying all that lay in its path. This in itself was not an unusual occurrence, for as we all know, there are many of the like on record. And as was usually the case for these events, 1006 was there to investigate and make certain that no damage had been done to the other nearby stars, as well as to see what was left from the calamity. It was there among the dust and shimmering fragments of what had once been proud planets that she found it, the most peculiar and inexplicable of things:
   A girl.
   She was dying, yes. Unconscious. Suffocating and badly marred by the colossal explosion, limbs blackened with burns, and tattered, bloody messes where once there seemed to have been delicate wings. Around her charcoaled arms were wrapped and fused chains, the red-hot glow from the flames rapidly fading in the absence of air, begging the question of what had befallen her, even before the destruction of her world. 
   But she was alive.
   1006 stopped in her tracks, overcome with surprise that anyone could possibly have survived. But swiftly the surprise turned into grave concern for the child -for she could not have been more than four years of age, and the senshi began to reach out to her, wanting to hold her protectively. 
   However, before she could get much closer she was interrupted in her endeavour by light forming suddenly in places amidst the debris, creating the visible clouds that were clearly the composition of a new nebula. One such light of an exceptional brightness bloomed right beside the slowly expiring girl, taking on a shape of its own- though similar in shape and size.
   A boy.
   Bright and alive, sleeping peacefully with his hand grasping one of the battered girl child's burned ones. A gleaming pocket of air spread around the pair at his arrival, postponing the girl's demise and sustaining them both. 
    Amazed and bewildered, 1006 reached slowly to them, taking them into her arms and holding them gently and compassionately. 
   
   Such strange circumstances.

   They were no less strange in growing up, for they were brought back to the palace of the sun, where after some deliberation and discussion they were placed in the very care of 1006 and 1054, to be brought up and trained as senshi. They were the only children in the palace for those years. Neither members of the court, nor members of the royal family, they were in some way alone. They were adored and played with by whoever had the time for such young ones in the midst of state affairs, whether it was their senshi guardians, the servants, the court members, or even the queen. They were raised well. Respectful and noble, as would be expected of warriors. But their strongest bond was with each other, for they were both the odd ones out, and their connection was as deep or more than any blood related siblings. It was hardly any time at all before they came to be referred to as twins.
