Description
--edit: made some building-ish shapes in the background and re-did the window. Used a majorly photo-shopped picture of a friend, then went one further by giving it the cut-out effect and the stained glass effect. Then I turned it into a window. Woot.
---edit: Wound up hating the blue shading. So I changed it back to regular shading. Eh, whatever, it looks way better this way.
Not sure how well this turned out. I rather like all of the different pieces I put in it, though. Everything is drawn on the computer. Lighting was in Photoshop, while the character was made in Flash.
I love my gargoyle girl. She's been around since very early on in my drawing career. Her wings and clothing usually vary, but aside from that her features don't change much.
I wanted to use this character either as a non-student/teacher in Occulo, or as my character in REM when that opens. Maybe both...
Her name is Tare Lapide.

...So the first thing that caught my eye was her tail, that's not weird at all. >_>;
What a peculiar looking character. She's quite pretty, but it's quite clear she's not human, and it's not just the wings, tail, slit eyes and pointed ears that say that! Her features mark her as alien.
It's a good thing. XD
As an aside, I think you went a little heavy on the lens flare over the window, but other then that the coloring has a dreamy feel to it that fits well with her mystical nature.
